Coastal low clouds and fog will persist overnight and into the early morning hours through mid-week on the coast. Further inland, mostly clear skies will stick around.

Temperatures are expected to be near normal to slightly below normal across the region. Inland locations will see daytime highs in the high 80’s, coastal locations will see temperatures in the high 60’s and coastal valleys will reach the low 70’s.

Due to a combination of smoke from wildfires and air pollution, an air quality alert remains in place for San Luis Obispo County through 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The Santa Barbara Air Pollution Control District and Santa Barbara County Public Health Department issued an air quality watch for Santa Barbara County. That alert is in place through 11 a.m. Thursday.

The wildfire smoke is expected to clear slightly as cleaner air from the Pacific moves into the region.
