Due to a combination of smoke from wildfires and air pollution, an air quality alert remains in place for San Luis Obispo County through 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The Santa Barbara Air Pollution Control District and Santa Barbara County Public Health Department issued an air quality watch for Santa Barbara County. That alert is in place through 11 a.m. Thursday.

The wildfire smoke is expected to clear slightly as cleaner air from the Pacific moves into the region.
