Foggy morning and breezy afternoon

The marine layer and fog aren’t going anywhere during morning hours this week. It will be patchy for the inland valleys and a little bit more widespread heading into the coastal valleys and beaches. The good news is it will clear up by late morning. Onshore flow will make for a breezy afternoon and could get winds up to 20 miles per hour. Expect winds to increase from noon to about 8:00 p.m.

Daytime highs for the inland are much cooler on Monday with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the low 80s. The coastal valleys actually won’t be too far off from the interior portions as temperatures will be as low as the low 70s but could reach the upper 70s. Conditions along the coastline will be much cooler with daytime highs from the low 60s to low 70s on Monday.

The cooler weather will carry over through Wednesday but temperatures won’t be here for long. Expect daytime highs for the inland valleys to increase by about five to 10 degrees by the end of the week as an upper-level high moves to the west.
