Cloudy morning for the Central Coast

Morning clouds and fog will bring another day of mild temperatures to the Central Coast. Throughout the morning, and until about noon, there will be a chance of drizzle before afternoon clearing.

As high pressure sits to the east of California and low pressure is to the north, cooler and cloudy conditions will persist through Wednesday. Inland valley temperatures continue to be at or right near average, but cities like Paso Robles and Atascadero will be reaching the upper 70s on Tuesday, which is below average for this time of year.

The coastal valleys will be within the low to upper 70s on Tuesday with morning fog keeping conditions fairly cool through 1:00 p.m. At the coast, expect daytime highs to be from the mid-60s to low 70s on Tuesday through the weekend.

Tuesday will also be windy at times. Northwesterly winds will range from 10-15 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching 25 mph. The windy conditions will carry over into Labor Day Weekend along with warming, particularly for the inland valleys.
