Dense fog could produce morning drizzle

Deepening marine layer continues to persist, which means more fog and the possibility for more drizzle. These conditions will clear up by the afternoon but expect lingering fog along the coastline through the start of the afternoon.

Temperatures for the inland valleys are still getting close to triple digits, but some areas like Paso Robles and Atascadero could hang around the upper 80s on Wednesday. The inland valleys in San Luis Obispo County will also have gusty winds that will be within a 25 to 30 mile per hour range throughout the late afternoon and into the early evening hours.

The coastal valleys will be foggy Wednesday but mostly clear by noon. Daytime highs will be mild and from the low 70s to low 80s with moderate winds ranging from 10-20 miles per hour. The beaches are still going to be cooler and around the mid-60s to low 70s, but expect daytime highs to warm-up to the upper 70s by the end of the week.

High pressure is still building over the state, so that means high winds and triple-digit temperatures for the inland valleys are in the forecast to start off the weekend.
