Turning warmer inland with 100+ Friday

A few changes in the forecast for Thursday.  I think we’ll see the marine layer return tonight with fog and drizzle at the beaches with lows in the 50s for most of the west-facing Central Coast and 60s for southern Santa Barbara County.  However, high pressure returns to the region on Thursday thru the weekend.  At the beaches and coastal valleys, this will mean NW afternoon winds to 25mph.  This will also wipe out the marine clouds and temps on Thursday will be in transition: 60s still at the beaches with upper 70s in the coastal valleys and mid-90s inland with the Southcoast near 80.  But temps will jump Friday-Sunday into the 70s at the beaches and 80s for most coastal valleys while inland temps run near 100 Friday-Saturday backing off into the lower 90s by early next week.

Extended forecasts models are not showing any sign of significant rain outside of marine drizzle associated with the marine layer.
