Temps will drop inland

While national weather attention is fixed on Hurricane Florence, local weather actually is quite quiet.  A trough of low pressure is digging into The West.  This will bring much cooler air inland.  Any night and morning clouds over the next couple days will get mixed out quickly behind a stronger NW wind of 15-25mph at the coast.

Temps drop from today 90s inland into the mid 80s Wednesday and low 80s Friday, some slight recovery into the mid 80s will take place this upcoming weekend.

At the coast the coastal valleys will be in the lower to mid 70s with beaches in the mid 60s to low 70s and the Southcoast near 80.  Almost no daily change anticipated for those regions for the next week.
