It will be a chilly morning throughout the Central Coast with temperatures below 50 degrees in most areas before 8:00 a.m.
Once temperatures start to increase, daytime highs for the inland valleys will be favorable and stay within the low to mid-80s. The coastal valleys will also have mild conditions with temperatures in the low to upper 70s and patchy morning fog. Northwesterly winds will pick-up this afternoon and range from 10-20 miles per hour. Again, wind gusts could be a factor today and range from 20-30 mph for many of the coastal and inland valleys and beaches.
Morning northwesterly winds will keep the beaches mostly clear towards the end of the morning and heading into the afternoon. Daytime highs along the coast will be a little cooler and range from the mid-60s to low 70s.
