Cooler temperatures are expected on the Central Coast through the weekend before a slight warm-up expected early next week.
The marine layer has been mostly absent from the coast, with mostly sunny skies expected through the evening hours. Gusty onshore winds are likely on the Central Coast, including the foothills, mountains, and deserts. Overnight, the marine layer is expected to return for the beach.
Temperatures are expected to reach near normal across much of the region with highs in the interior valleys to be in the upper 80s to low 90s. Coastal valleys will see daytime temperatures in the mid to high 70s and beaches will reach the low to mid-70s.
