Another warm day for the Central Coast

Offshore flow will limit some of the marine layer along most of the coastline on Thursday. As a result, daytime highs will be warmer by about five to ten degrees. Temperatures at the beaches will be in the low 70s and areas within the coastal valleys will range from the mid-70s to low 80s.

Patchy morning fog could still be a factor for the coastal valleys during the morning commute, but models show Thursday will have another afternoon with plenty of sunshine. The interior valleys will mostly be in the low to mid-90s on Thursday with some cooling in the forecast from Friday to Sunday. By the weekend, the cooling will be much more widespread from the coastal valleys and the beaches, which is where daytime highs will return back to the 60s and 70s.
