After temperatures stretched into the 90’s on Sunday, a cool down is expected by Monday.

Fog and low clouds will return to the coastline as high pressure weakens and onshore flow becomes more dominant.

Dense fog will move in Sunday night in the coastal communities of Santa Barbara County. The marine inversion is expected to remain mostly below 600 feet, which means visibility will likely be poor. There’s a possibility of a dense fog advisory should the fog become more widespread.

The dense fog and low clouds are expected to clear in most areas for a mostly sunny day on Monday. Temperatures will reach the mid-70s to low 80s in coastal valleys, 70’s on the beach and low 80’s inland.
