Santa Ana winds steadily decreased Saturday morning as winds transitioned from offshore to onshore in the afternoon. Onshore flow has increased humidity but is also keeping the smoke from the fires overhead.
Onshore winds are expected to be short-lived. Another round of Santa Ana winds is expected to develop Sunday morning, strengthening as the day goes on.

A red flag warning remains in place through November 13 for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties as humidities remain low. Southwest winds of around 15 mph with isolated gusts to 25 mph in the late afternoon and early evening can create possible erratic fire behavior.

On the Central Coast, temperatures will drop below freezing in inland areas with overnight lows ranging from 26 to 32 degrees. Afreeze warning has been issued for SLO County’s interior valleys through Sunday morning.
Temperatures remain in the 70’s in coastal valleys and interior areas. On the coast, temps remain in the low 70’s. The marine layer is expected to stay at a minimum this week.
