Warmer temperatures and big waves expected Thursday

Sunny and dry conditions continue into Thursday morning.

Many areas along the Central Coast will see temperatures in the low 70’s Thursday, with temperatures in the 40’s at night.

A low pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska is causing some big waves and small craft advisory on our coast. Swells are expected to be 11-13 feet by Saturday. This low pressure system is also bringing rain back into the area.

While some weather models show chances for rain on Friday still around 20 percent, the real chances of rain appear to be on Monday.

Models from the National Weather Service are currently showing rain accumulations for most of the Central Coast around .25 of an inch.

Enjoy the sunny weather while it lasts!
