Over the weekend the Central Coast got rain from Saturday into early Monday. At the bottom of this story I will attach 24 hour rain totals which covers only Sunday-Monday, but to generalize over the last 4 days the Central Coast got .5-4″ of rain.
Not much of a break before more activity.
An active weather pattern is setting up, especially late this week, along with dangerous high surf conditions at areas beaches.
The first storm system will arrive on Wednesday along the Central Coast, but it will weaken as it moves south. 0.10-0.50 inch rainfall totals for Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
Rain is likely Wednesday as another storm system moves across the area! The #CentralCoast could expect 0.25-0.50", #SBA County 0.10-0.30" and #VTU County less than 0.10"!

The second storm system Friday pm-Saturday looks stronger with higher rainfall totals and the potential for heavy downpours capable of reaching minimal rain rate thresholds for mud and debris flows near recent burn scars. Late Friday-Saturday: 0.50-1.50 inch rainfall totals with locally higher amounts on south-facing mountain slopes.
Finally, fast-moving storms will generate large westerly swell over the Pacific Ocean resulting in high surf conditions for west-facing beaches starting Tuesday night and continuing through Sunday.
Central Coast: 17-22 feet breakers, peaking Wednesday-Thursday.
Additional storms could impact the region from Sunday through Wednesday of next week.
Here are the 4 day rain totals: The numbers can be hard to read so click HERE for an interactive rainfall map, in the upper left you can change the range to 4 days or even season totals. (Note: since this is automated there are a few dud readings, in doubt consult NOAA totals for official readings)
Here are the 24 hours rain totals (ending 11am Monday.. but this is not the totality of the weekend rainfall since quite a bit came down Saturday. The interactive map is better for the larger totals.):
