A winter storm watch has been issued for the Santa Barbara County and Ventura County Mountains from late Sunday night through late Monday night.
Heavy snow is possible above 5,000 feet with accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Damaging southeast winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph are possible.
The snow is expected to hit the San Marcos Pass, San Rafael Wilderness area, Dick Smith Wilderness Area, Lockwood Valley, and Mount Pinos.
