Afternoon temperatures across the region are above normal today with gusty Santa Ana winds to our south.

A slow cooling trend will begin on Monday, continuing through the week. An increase in clouds will assist in the cooling of our temperatures. Temperatures will drop from near 80 degrees to the low to mid-60s.

A cold front associated with this system will move in Monday night into Tuesday. The system could have just enough to drop some very light rain across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County. Further south, there is a chance of some marine layer drizzle.

Thursday through Saturday, there’s a chance of rain for the Central Coast.
