Cooling trend begins Sunday with overnight marine layer

Saturday is sunny and warm before a cooling trend begins on Sunday with a good chance of overnight low clouds and fog.

Daytime skies will be partly cloudy on Sunday with coastal temps in the mid to high-60s and inland locations reaching the mid to high 70s. Expect stronger onshore winds with some advisory level winds in Antelope Valley.

Monday morning, expect marine layer clouds and areas of drizzle. By the afternoon, clouds will burn off for mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures reach the low 70s in coastal areas with mid-70s inland.

Monday night, there’s a 30 percent of showers.

In the long term, decreasing winds and above average temperatures are in the forecast for Thursday through Saturday.
