More clouds and cooler temps arrive for the weekend

The Easter weekend is nearly here and the weather pattern is changing a bit from the warm weather of the past few days. High clouds will continue to stream across the area but more low clouds will also be around during the night and morning hours pulling temps back down.

Beaches will be in the mid 60s Friday with coastal valleys near 70 with temps slipping a few more degrees Saturday. Inland we should still see low 80s Friday but back off into the lower 70s for the balance of the weekend.

An upper low that is currently about 750 miles southwest of us is expected to slowly move towards the coast Friday into Friday night. Likely too far south of us to do much but might have to watch for upper elevation thunderstorms, currently I think the chances are pretty low and if it happens it would only be for SB and Ventura county bordering the Kern county line

A low pressure trouh moves through Saturday for more marine influence and also string NW afternoon winds into Sunday. All this would argue for a cloud/sun mix and temperatures to be on the cooler side.

A ridge next week on Tuesday and Wednesday will boost temps in the 80s and even near 90 inland with warm temps also at the coast due to expected offshore flow.
