Friday looks to be a transitional day to cooler weather for the weekend. We will still see NW wind with some night and morning marine layer. Inland temps should still manage high 70s and low 80s Friday but coastal valleys will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s with beaches in the low to mid 60s.
Saturday will be similar in terms of sky and wind conditions but temps will continue a slide with lower 60s at beaches and mid 60s at the coastal valleys with inland highs falling into the mid 70s.
Sunday and Monday an upper low pressure system moves over the area with more clouds, cooler temps and a chance of shower and isolated thunderstorms. Yesterday models were all over the place with the system with one model even suggesting up to 1″ of rain, however models today are much more conservative with the system showering lighter rain amounts. Best chance is on Sunday but some showers Monday can’t be ruled out. Less than .20″ is likely.

The low-pressure system moves off Tuesday, and partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures resume.
High pressure will build over the balance of the week for warmer weather and more sunshine.
I get asked often.. where do we stand on rain? Well, here you go. Keep in mind some communities have several places where rain is measured and often differ significantly.
