Morning and night low clouds continue to be a factor in the forecast. Marine layer will hug the coastline Tuesday morning, while the fog will be mixed in throughout the coastal and interior valleys.

Daytime highs for the beaches will be around the mid to upper-60s and the coastal valleys will sit close to the mid-70s. The interior valleys are starting to heat up Tuesday and daytime highs could reach the mid-90s by the afternoon.

Thunderstorm potential still remains over parts of the foothills, mountains and inland valleys in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. There’s about a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and wind gusts could reach 20 miles per hour.

Northwesterly winds will generally range from 10-20 mph Tuesday and Wednesday but have the potential to increase to 30 mph by the end of the week.

A amazing evening for sure in the Parkfield area on Sunday. #BeOnKSBY
