These hot and dry conditions are finally leaving the Central Coast. Instead, temperatures look to drop off 15 to 20 degrees by Sunday.
A Heat Advisory covering San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties has been extended into two more hours and now expires today at 7 p.m.
Offshore winds will begin to weaken this evening and look to switch to an onshore flow by Saturday.
This will bring our daytime highs down by 5-10 degrees tomorrow.
Temperatures at the beach are looking like low to mid 70's, coastal valleys upper 70's to low 80's and inland communities are likely to reach upper 80's to low 90's.
Onshore flow will also bring low marine clouds at the coast as early as Saturday evening.
Santa Ana winds in LA and Ventura Counties look to die down tonight until another possible event Sunday.

This event looks to be cooler, but could have dry winds like we've been seeing. In that case, it could prompt wind advisories in Southern California and warnings in elevated and isolated areas.
