Onshore winds are back and cloudy skies are back in the forecast Thursday. As a result, much of the area will experience significant cooling.
The inland valley temperatures are expected to stay close to the low 80s, while the coastal valleys will be right around the upper 70s to about the low 80s. The marine layer influence combined with the onshore push will keep daytime highs at the coast right around the upper 60s. As for the winds, gusts could reach 25 miles per hour through early Thursday night.
Weather models are showing that the morning low clouds will fill in over much of the Central Coast Thursday morning, but will be patchy near the south coast. Throughout the rest of the morning, more clouds will fill in along the coastline but there will still be sunshine in parts of the coastal and inland valleys.
There will likely be drizzle late Thursday through early Friday morning for the Central Coast and south coast regions. Saturday's forecast looks to be cloudy in the morning with mostly clear skies by the afternoon.
