It was a pretty nice and mild day afternoon for much of the Central Coast Sunday.

Most coast and valley locations were 3-5 degrees cooler than Saturday due to the marine layer and onshore flow, while mountain areas are a few degrees warmer.

Temperatures are expected to cool through Monday, then warm again late next week.

Night through morning low clouds and fog will expand into most coastal and lower valley areas by Monday.

Aside from morning stratus, it will be another sunny day Monday.

Coasts and valleys will be a few degrees below normal while interior valleys will come up a few degrees above normal.

Patchy fog continues into next week across coastal waters, with poorest visibility and most widely spread conditions occurring in the overnight and morning hours.

A high pressure ridge from the southwest will bring a midweek warm followed by another stronger ridge developing over the area for next weekend.

Have a great week!
