Temperatures will be below average for the last day of September. Morning temperatures are expected to stay around the 40s and low 50s through 9:00 a.m. Monday.

Northwesterly flow will pick-up Monday morning and continue through the evening, with potential for wind gusts to range from 15-25 miles per hour. It is likely there will be another sundowner event near the south coast close to Gaviota, which could prompt a wind advisory.

Between the winds and cool air advection, most of the marine layer has been eliminated Monday morning, which will make for mostly sunny skies Monday. Daytime highs will be right around the low to mid-70s for both the coastal and inland valleys, while the beaches will be closer to the low to mid-60s.
