We had a nice reprieve from the heat Sunday, with temperatures cooling off significantly from Saturday afternoon.
Sunday afternoon places like Port San Luis were 28 degrees cooler and San Luis Obispo was over 10 degrees cooler than Saturday.
The cooling trend will continue Monday for most areas except southern Santa Barbara County, due to potentials for Sundowner winds which are anticipated to return Monday evening.
A warming trend redevelops Tuesday with daytime highs back above normal.
Winds are starting to become a large concern as gusty north winds are expected to develop Sunday night through the I-5 corridor and across southern Santa Barbara County.
Because of this, a Wind Advisory for southern Santa Barbara County has been issued through Monday morning.
Potentials for downed trees and power outages remain during this time.
Elevated gusty winds are also anticipated out on the water, where a Small Craft Advisory has been upgraded to a Gale Warning that extends into Tuesday.
Stay safe out there!
