Firefighters continue to fight a wildfire in California Valley that broke out Tuesday afternoon.

CAL FIRE SLO says the Branch fire has burned 3,022 acres and is 82% contained as of Thursday morning.

Highway 58 had to be closed due to the fire, but was reopened on Wednesday. All evacuation orders were lifted Thursday evening. Those orders included residents on Belmont Trail from Soda Lake Road to Branch Mountain Road.

Fire officials say two structures and 10 outbuildings were destroyed due to the fire. No injuries have been reported.
