A brush fire burned about three acres Wednesday afternoon near San Miguel.
The fire was first reported just after 2:15 p.m. on the 6000 block of Hog Canyon Road.
CAL FIRE SLO initially reported that several structures were threatened; however, crews had the fire 50% contained by 3 p.m. and forward progress stopped by 3:30. No structures were burned.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
