Firefighters are battling the flames on the ground while air units conduct water drops.

Firefighters are responding to reports of a brush fire that broke out Friday afternoon off Highway 154.
It started around 11 a.m. just east of Cachuma Lake.
There have been no reports of road closures or evacuations at this time.
