Firefighters responded to a fire in the Elfin Forest in Los Osos on Thursday.
The fire was reported shortly before 5 p.m.
As of 6:35 p.m., it was reported to be contained.
Officials with CAL FIRE SLO asked the public to avoid the area while firefighters remained on scene.
