UPDATE (8:50 p.m.) - Forward progress of fire has been stopped according to CAL FIRE SLO officials.
Authorities say one person has been transported to the hospital via ambulance.
CAL FIRE SLO is asking people to avoid the area. They say they will have crews on scene for about another hour.

UPDATE (8:30 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO says when crews arrived on scene, they noticed a 10x10 sport burning in heavy brush near Ormonde Road.
Fire officials says there is also a vehicle on its side, but it is unclear if there are occupants.
In a tweet, CAL FIRE SLO says the fire has potential to grow to 2 acres, but once all crews arrive they should make quick progress.

ORIGINAL (8:25 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO says crews are responding to reports of a vegetation fire near 1800 block of Price Canyon Road.
In a tweet, fire officials say the fire is located near Thousand Hills.
