The Drum Fire, which broke out Sunday near Buellton, is now 100% contained.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department reports the fire burned 696 acres.
It broke out shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday off Highway 246 just west of Buellton. Strong winds fanned the flames, causing it to quickly consume several hundred acres.
Approximately 100 structures were threatened at the height of the fire, but firefighters were able to protect them all and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
