(6:53 p.m.) - Firefighters are responding to a brush fire in the New Cuyama area.
The fire was reported shortly after 6 p.m., burning off Highway 166, west of Highway 33.
Santa Barbara County Fire officials say the fire has burned about 20 to 25 acres of grass. No structures are threatened.
The fire is reportedly burning at a moderate rate of spread.
