UPDATE (2:48 p.m.) — The vegetation fire on Santa Rosa Creek Road and Curti Creek Road in Cambria has burned two acres, according to CAL FIRE SLO officials.

A CAL FIRE SLO spokesperson said fire crews are deploying a hose line to contain the blaze.

There are no evacuations nor evacuation warnings in place for the surrounding area, according to CAL FIRE SLO.

ORIGINAL STORY (1:56 p.m.) — CAL FIRE SLO crews are responding to reports of a vegetation fire Sunday afternoon in Cambria.

According to a spokesperson for CAL FIRE SLO, crews were notified of a vegetation fire at about 1:25 p.m. along Santa Rosa Creek Road and Curti Creek Road.

CAL FIRE SLO officials were unable to give an estimated number of acres burning as units are still arriving on scene.

It is not yet known if there are any evacuations or evacuation warnings in place for surrounding neighborhoods.
