UPDATE (7:04 p.m.): Santa Barbara County Fire Public Information Office Captain Daniel Bertucelli says forward progress has stopped on the vegetation fire of Tepesquet Rd.
The fire is held at five acres but crews will still remain on scene overnight and into tomorrow.
No structures were damaged in the fire and no injuries have been reported.
Fire officials say the fire had potential to grow, but was knocked down quickly with the helped of a helicopter, 2 fixed-wing aircrafts and 4 engines.
The cause is still under investigation.

Santa Barbara County firefighters are responding to reports of a brush fire near Tepesquet Rd near Santa Maria.
Reports first came in shortly after 5 p.m. according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
The Santa Maria Fire Department is also assisting with this response. The department posted a photo to Twitter saying Engine 33 is en-route.
