UPDATE (5:20 p.m.) - As of 5 p.m., firefighters say forward progress of the fire had been stopped.
It burned approximately 30 acres.
Fire crews were expected to remain on scene for another two to three hours.

(4:32 p.m.) - Firefighters were responding to a brush fire that broke out Friday afternoon near Paso Robles.
It was first reported at about 4:15 p.m. along Creston Road near Laguna del Campo.
CAL FIRE SLO reports the fire has burned about five acres and has the potential to grow to ten acres.
