Firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire that sparked along Soda Lake Road in California Valley, east of the Santa Margarita.
According to Cal Fire, the fire, now called the Belmont Fire, was reported at 2:17 p.m. and has burned approximately 11 acres.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
