Crews with CAL FIRE SLO and the Five Cities Fire Authority are working to extinguish a vegetation fire Thursday in the Oceano Dunes.
According to a tweet from CAL FIRE SLO, the fire was initially reported shortly before 3 p.m. along the Oceano Dunes mid-ramps.
Fire officials said the brush fire grew to 1,600 square feet.
CAL FIRE SLO crews tweeted firefighters will be on scene mopping up for several hours.
An investigator is also on scene, according to authorities.
