(4:35 p.m.) - Reports of a fire along Highway 166 east of Santa Maria was affecting traffic Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were responding to the fire just east of Suey Creek. It was first reported at about 3 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, eastbound traffic was being stopped at Bull Canyon Rd.
