Firefighters extinguished a grass fire that burned about 15 acres Monday afternoon in California Valley.
The fire broke out just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Energy Pl. and Highway 58.
By 1:30 p.m., CAL FIRE SLO reported that forward progress of the fire had been stopped.
