PG&E transmission lines to blame for destructive Kincade Fire in Sonoma County, CAL FIRE says

PG&E transmission lines sparked the destructive Kincade Fire that burned in Sonoma County in October of 2019, according to CAL FIRE.

The Kincade Fire burned 77,758 acres, destroyed more than 370 homes and damaged 60 structures northeast of Geyserville. Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According to CAL FIRE, the blaze was active for nearly two weeks.
NBC Bay Area reports that CAL FIRE'S investigative report will be passed on to the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office.
