UPDATE (2:54 p.m.) - Highway 154 is back open.

ORIGINAL STORY: A small brush fire prompted the closure of a portion of Highway 154 in the Santa Barbara area Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the fire was reported shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Stagecoach Road under the Cold Spring Bridge.
Less than half an acre burned.
Fire officials say crews from the Los Padres National Forest responded and put out the flames before Santa Barbara County firefighters arrived on scene.
Highway 154 is closed until further notice from Stagecoach Road to Paradise Road.
Caltrans advises drivers to be aware of emergency crews in the area.
Highway 101 remains open.
