Some San Luis Obispo County residents can see huge plumes of smoke from the Hunter Fire burning in Monterey County.
People have sent KSBY photos and videos of the smoke they are seeing from their own backyards as the fire burns in southern parts of Monterey County.
The Hunter Fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Lockwood and has burned about 70 acres, officials say.
According to CAL FIRE, it is threatening about 20 structures.. Precautionary evacuations are in place for residents in Lockwood.
