A Paso Robles home is destroyed after a fire broke out early Wednesday morning.
Paso Robles fire department officials say crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire on the 500 block of Sims Ave. at about 1:40 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, the fire had engulfed the home and was threatening multiple neighboring structures.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the home but fire officials say it is a total loss.

Three residents of the home evacuated safely and were evaluated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
