Two separate fires broke out near Highway 1 and West Clark Avenue in Orcutt Wednesday afternoon.
The fire has burned about three acres of grass, but officials say it has the potential to scorch five.
Public Education Officer Mike Eliason posted the news on twitter at 2:14 p.m.
