It's feeling more like Fall across the Central Coast, especially for some of the coastal communities. The maximum temperature in Pismo Beach only reached 61 degrees Wednesday, which could be the same case Thursday. Some of the other coastal communities, like San Simeon, could stay close to the upper 50s.

Throughout the morning commute, expect the fog to really be present from the coastal valleys to the beaches. Weather modeling is showing clearing will start around 9:00 a.m., and by the afternoon, sunshine should be fairly widespread for the coastal and inland valleys. Some of the marine layer could be a little stubborn to clear for the beaches, so it's possible that it will be partly cloudy along our coastline.

Temperature-wise, maximum daytime highs will be from the upper 60s to the low 70s for the coastal valleys, but the inland valleys still have potential to be right around the upper 70s to the low 80s.

We have warmer temperatures in store for the weekend. Daytime highs along the coast could be back in the 70s Saturday and the inland valley communities will be in the 80s.
