Places like Paso Robles rose over 10 degrees warmer from Saturday afternoon.

Patchy, dense fog is anticipated to lower visibility to under one mile for our coastal waters.

Gusty winds are expected in mountain areas but some of the biggest impacts are out on the water.

Temperatures are anticipated to be near normal for coasts and valleys with interior valleys and mountains continuing to heat up.

Our area won't get nearly as hot as the San Joaquin Valley where an Excessive Heat Watch has been issued.

This trend continues through Wednesday, before some slight cooling by next weekend.
