Daytime highs Monday will be slightly warmer than the weekend temperatures. For the coastal regions, temperatures are expected to peak from the mid-60s to the low 70s, while coastal valleys will range from the low to mid-70s. Inland valley temperatures could actually be cooler than the coastal valleys with daytime highs from the upper 60s to mid-70s.
For the morning drive, skies are expected to be mostly clear. There will be some patchy clouds, but otherwise clear skies are expected to persist through the afternoon and evening hours.
The real talker will be the wind gusts. Conditions will be mild compared to the Santa Ana winds that are reaching nearly 70 miles per hour over Southern California. For the Central Coast, winds are expected to shift out of the northeast throughout the morning drive before changing direction out of the northwest throughout the afternoon. While these winds are expected to decrease throughout the rest of the week, daytime highs will be warm and skies will be clear through the Halloween weekend.
By Saturday, temperatures at the coast will reach the low 70s and upper 70s for the coastal valleys. The warmest temperatures are going to be across inland valley locations with peak temperatures reaching the low 80s.
