Sunday was our last day of temperatures slightly above normal, ahead of some cooler weather coming Monday and Tuesday.
An upper level ridge is moving over the eastern Pacific with a very weak trough moving across the area.
Cooler temperatures are expected for most areas Monday, as onshore gradients increase and clouds drift overhead.
The only exception may be some slight warming across interiors areas during this time.
We are expecting an increase in night through morning clouds and fog in coastal valley areas.
Dense fog is expected this evening and lifting by sunrise. Skies will stay partly to mostly cloudy on Monday.
There is a chance of rain to return by Thursday night with a quick splash of rain Thursday into Friday, and another set of showers Saturday into Sunday.
Rainfall totals appear to be on the lighter side at this time.
Have a great week!
