Mild conditions are back in the forecast to start out the week. Daytime highs along the coast will be in the 60s, while most coastal valley locations will reach the 70s. For those in the inland valley communities, temperatures will vary slightly with temperatures reaching the 80s for places like Paso Robles and Atascadero, and daytime highs reaching the mid-90s over deeper interiors like San Miguel.

The fog that did not want to clear out of the Five Cities region Sunday is back Monday morning. Weaker onshore flow should allow for more clearing along the south coast region. However, with increasing onshore flow over Central Coast beaches, it's possible there could be a similar pattern from Sunday where the coast stays cloudy for most of the morning and afternoon.

Windy conditions are backing off slightly across the area with most peak wind gusts around 15 miles per hour with a few exceptions. The inland valleys could experience some gusty conditions Monday with wind speeds from 20-25 mph through midnight.

Looking ahead to the end of the week, high pressure is going to rebuild, which will kick temperatures up above average through the weekend and bring some inland valleys back to triple digits Saturday and Sunday.
