After a weekend of rain, the Central Coast is clearing up. Commuters can expect mostly clear skies across the coastal valleys and along the coast Monday morning with morning temperatures between the 40s and 50s. The inland valleys, especially in San Luis Obispo County, could experience cloudy skies throughout most of the morning with temperatures right around the upper 40s through at least the 8 o'clock hour.

By the afternoon, temperatures for the coastal regions are expected to warm-up to the low to mid-60s, while some of the interior valleys could stay closer to the upper 50s and low 60s. Commuters might not need an umbrella Monday, but they will want a jacket for at least the morning hours.

Northeasterly winds will produce breezy conditions Monday with winds from 15-25 miles per hour from the morning hours through Monday night.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, cloud cover will increase as a trough of low pressure moves in over the state.
