The Central Coast will wake up to another cloudy and foggy morning, particularly for the coastal valleys and beaches. Gradual clearing at the coast will start closer to 11 a.m. Thursday, while it will happen closer to the end of the morning commute for the coastal valleys.
Temperatures will continue to trend down for the inland valleys Thursday and range from the upper 80s to mid-90s. By the weekend, another warm-up is in the forecast and temperatures for the inland communities could reach triple-digits as early as Saturday.
Daytime highs at the coast will range from the mid-60s to the low 70s, while the coastal valleys will be from the low to upper 70s.
One of the bigger concerns with Thursday's forecast is the sundowner winds over the south coast region, between Gaviota and Refugio. An advisory hasn't been issued, but afternoon and evening sustaining winds could range from 20-35 miles per hour with gusts reaching 40-50 mph.
